With over 25 years of experience in the fashion industry, Amy Conlon has worked across the sector from multiple perspectives—supplier, brand, and luxury product—gaining deep expertise in fashion design, product development, and market strategy across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and accessories. Throughout her career, she has led design and innovation projects, overseeing everything from initial concept development to final production, collaborating with manufacturers, and creating commercially successful collections for both independent labels and established brands.

Her career has spanned design, production, trend forecasting, and strategic leadership, positioning her as a trusted expert in both creative and commercial fashion strategy. She has developed original print and textile designs, built strong relationships with global suppliers, and designed garments that have been stocked by major retailers. Her experience extends from high street fashion to bespoke luxury, allowing her to bridge creative vision with technical execution.

A firm believer in continuous learning, Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Technology from Auckland University of Technology, followed by advanced studies at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion. More recently, she completed a Leadership for Sustainable Business course with the Sustainable Business Network, reinforcing her commitment to driving meaningful change in the industry.

Amy’s passion for sustainability is evident in her leadership across Outliv, Dove Hospice & Wellness, McDonald Textiles, and Fashion Revolution NZ. As the founder of Outliv, she has built an award-nominated accessories brand that transforms preloved clothing into unique, circular fashion pieces, blending her expertise in design and sustainability. At Dove Hospice & Wellness, she led digital marketing and brand engagement strategies, while at McDonald Textiles, she led e-commerce strategy and digital marketing initiatives while also spearheading key sustainability projects, focusing on circular design, garment repair programs, and long-term impact strategies. Her role as Assistant Country Coordinator for Fashion Revolution NZ has seen her champion ethical fashion advocacy, growing the movement nationwide for over five years.

A seasoned entrepreneur and senior strategist, Amy specialises in bridging fashion and sustainability, helping brands navigate industry shifts through responsible design, circular strategies, and long-term impact-driven innovation. Her work is driven by a belief that fashion should be both innovative and responsible—designed not just for now, but for the future.
